I have been meaning to take this blog a little more seriously (as in, really writing and updating), so hopefully I am willing to adjust to the change.

As one of the top sponsors for the Illustration Conference ICON5 Xerox collaborated with four colleges (FIT - Parsons - SVA - MICA) to design an original deck of playing cards. Each school was given a suit and the students could interpret their card using illustration and design (that's mine above!) I also got a chance to be interviewed over the phone, and you can read my response as well as the entire formal press release for the project HERE

It was a real pleasure to design the pack of cards, coordinate the 4 schools and work with such great student artwork, like Jess's. Xerox was an amazing partner to work with in producing the card set.
Being able to bring ICON5 to life was also an amazing adventure. Dave Plunkert and Jess Neil at Spur made working on the poster, schedule and program a very cool process. Thanks Jess!
