It has been a little over a year since I participated in Baltimore's Urban Forest Project, but I realized I never posted about being part of such an exciting event!
I heard about UFP when a co-worker showed off an adorable bag constructed from a recycled banner (that was originally up in NYC's central park where they also hosted UFP).
I was so in love with the idea that when I found out that the same event was happening in Baltimore I knew that I wanted participate.
All the final banners were hung throughout Baltimore City and then were recycled into tote bags. All bag purchases went towards maintaining Baltimore's green spaces.
